We love burgers and eat them all the time in our home. I genuinely accept that great burgers don't have a huge amount of fixings. Particularly when you purchase more excellent hamburger. At the point when I make burgers, I need the common kind of the meat to stick out, so I don't include a great deal of flavors. The most confused part about this formula is the caramelized onions (and they aren't entangled in any way). They include such a wonderful sweet flavor, that sets consummately with the meat.

Alright, how about we talk about caramelized onions. They are so natural to make, yet they do take a little tolerance. They cook over low warmth and the onions discharge their common sugars to make that yummy caramel flavor that we as a whole love. I cook them in a blend of avocado oil and ghee. On the off chance that you are not doing a series of Whole 30, I additionally love to utilize grass took care of spread (like KerryGold). When the onions are finished caramelizing, I let them cool totally and afterward the time has come to stuff the burgers.

I realize that a ton of plans will make them add breadcrumb and egg to the patty blend, and they do have their place at times. Be that as it may, I want to simply utilized the ground hamburger and flavors. I structure 12 equivalent estimated patties with my hands and afterward season them with a basic blend of salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika. I place the a tad bit of the onion blend in one patty and afterward place another patty on head of that. Utilizing my hands, I re-structure it to shape another patty.

  • 3 Yellow Onions Large
  • 2 Tbls Avocado Oil divided
  • 1 Tbls Ghee
  • 2 tsp Salt divided
  • 1 tsp Pepper divided
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Pre-heat the oven to 375'
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add in the ground beef, 1 tsp of salt, and 1/2 tsp pepper. Mix to combine and form into 12 equal sized patties. Place the formed patties onto a lined baking sheet in the fridge
  3. Thinly slice all 3 yellow onions. Heat 1 Tbls of the avocado oil and the ghee in a large cast iron skillet over medium low heat. Add in the onions and let cook (stirring occasionally) until slightly brown and caramelized (about 15-20 minutes)
  4. When done, turn off the heat and stir in the minced garlic. Remove from pan and let cool completely
  5. Take the patties out of the fridge and season the outside with remaining salt & pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Place about 1 Tbls of the onions in the center of 6 of the patties and use the other 6 patties on top. Use hands to form back into full size patties with the onions on the inside
  6. Add remaining avocado oil to the cast iron skillet and bring to medium/high heat. Once hot, place the burgers in the skillet and cook on each side for 4 minutes. Then place the skillet in the oven to finish cooking. Cook to your preference. I like mine medium rare, and that took about 10 minutes in the oven.
