Velvety Christmas Punch . . . a basic punch formula that is ideal for any Christmas gathering or assembling. Everybody cherishes this white punch!

Have you begun arranging your Christmas supper menu yet? Great nourishment has a major impact in the entirety of our vacation festivities. We ordinarily have a major dinner on Christmas Eve with our more distant family, trailed by a Christmas program. It's been a custom since I was a young lady!

One thing my children love about occasion suppers is that rather than the standard milk we have for supper, I will some of the time make a fun punch formula. I made this Creamy White Christmas Punch a year ago, and it was an immense hit.

I prepared a bunch last Saturday so I could impart the formula to you. My children were really excited to get a yummy punch on a plain old ordinary day!

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup hot water
3 oz evaporated milk (6 Tbsp)
1/2- 1 tsp almond extract (I used a teaspoon)
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
1 2-liter bottle of 7UP®
Whipped cream and sprinkles (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine sugar and water in a small glass bowl. Heat in the microwave for about 30 seconds or till sugar is dissolved. Cool and stir in evaporated milk and almond extract. Pour into a large punch bowl and add vanilla ice cream. Use a potato masher to break ice cream into small chunks. Slowly stir in the 7UP®.
Spoon into serving glasses. Garnish with whipped cream and sprinkles if desired. Serve immediately.
